Aaron Yassin is a design-driven real estate developer. Drawing on his passion as an artist and designer, he directs all phases of the development process — from zoning analysis, site acquisition, and project conceptualization to legal and financial structuring, capital raising, sourcing, construction management, and marketing.
As a strategically focused developer, Aaron builds ground-up construction apartments in NYC and single-family homes in the Catskills, designed and built to Passive House standards — the highest level of energy efficiency and sustainability. With a background spanning over 25 years in real estate and in the fields of design and fine art, he holds a unique position in the development space.
Over his career in real estate, Aaron has purchased, renovated, developed, managed, rented, and sold properties; structured complex deals; created legal syndications; raised capital; closed dozens of loans; completed a successful 1031 exchange; and secured a 421a tax abatement.
As an architectural designer, Aaron has won multiple design awards, including a prestigious Architizer A+ Award. He has worked with world-class architects and designers as well as Tiffany & Co., The Related Group, and the Museum of Modern Art, designing and managing high-level, complex manufacturing projects spanning multiple continents with rigorous timelines and precise architectural integration requirements.
In 2018, Aaron focused his years in real estate, architectural design, and project management on the mission of building signature properties. Drawing on his unique experience and skill set, he creates value and demand that exceeds the market. In 2025, his two most recent developments — The Eleven2 and The Josephine, both in Bushwick, Brooklyn — set neighborhood records, and he was named Boutique Condo Developer of the Year at the RED (Real Estate Development) Awards.
